When I first start designing a new site, I always end up making too many Main Pages. As I whittle down and finalize the layout, I realize some of them are more suited to be a Subpage. It helps to keep things organized and not have too many categories in my Menu!
Here's how to switch a Menu Page to a Subpage:
-
Select the desired Main Page, head to the Gear Icon
-
Select 'Duplicate Page.' Your page now has a copy as Subpage!
-
Click into the new Subpage and select that page's Gear Icon
-
In the popup menu, select 'Move'
Et voila! You can delete the original, but you've successfully created and moved the subpage under a Menu page. This is especially helpful if your pages and sites have a lot of data or content and keep crashing.
Depending on the presentation style, you can still scroll through all of your subpages as one continuous page of the Menu page, or you can categorize it even further by using the swipe motion.
Let me know if that helps! Got other thoughts? Leave them below ![]()
