It's officially the holiday season! What better way to celebrate this time of love and appreciation than to throw a holiday party?
Here's my take on the perfect invitation.
Traditional one-page-flyer types are great, but an invitation site can include more details, especially for an occasion like a family reunion, where people may be visiting from afar.
Here are some tips for creating the perfect invitation site:
1. Always include contact info for the party thrower.
- Whether it be email, phone number, or even social media (we all have that one family member who communicates exclusively through Facebook!), it's good to have more than one method of reaching out.
2. It's an invitation- time and place are necessary!
- The cool thing about having an invitation on Universe is using the Map Block! When your party guests tap on the block, Google Maps pulls up to assist in giving directions on how to get there.

3. This isn't necessary, but an itinerary or extra details round out the invitation.
- Sometimes the party doesn't stop but rolls over into a different activity. These are great ideas for people who may want to explore the town while they're there.
Invitation sites aren't just for the holidays, either. They're great for a birthday celebration, wedding, etc. Or maybe you just like hosting parties! They're versatile in format but can be specific for whatever you'd like.
