Use a computer and keyboard to write long-form copy, and then add it to your site using the Univer.se web editor.
Sometimes it is easier to type things on a real keyboard.
Sometimes you want to use Google Docs or Pages or even Notepad to type a long essay, or some kickass marketing copy.
And you want to put them into your site. Here's how:
- Use a regular computer and write your long-form copy in Google Docs.
- Login to your Universe account from your browser. https://web.univer.se
- Open your website in the editor, and pick the Text Block you want to put the content in.
- Copy the contents from your Google Doc to the clipboard. Then paste it into the Text Block in the Univer.se web editor.
Voila. Publish your site and we're done!
Remember, the Universe Web Editor is available on your computer - be it a Mac, Windows, or Linux. It is also available on your phones - both Android and iPhone. It is in fact everywhere where a browser like Chrome or Safari is available.
With the iPhone App
You could also use our flagship Univer.se iPhone app to paste your long-form content.
Just open your Google Doc in your iPhone using Safari, copy it to the clipboard, and then paste it to a text block after switching to the Univer.se app.
